HeartLoop is a couples' connection app operated by Heart Loop LLC ("HeartLoop," "we," "us," "our"). HeartLoop helps two connected partners build their relationship through small weekly actions ("Heart Acts") based on each partner's love language. This policy covers both our early-access waitlist (ourheartloop.com) and the HeartLoop mobile app.
When you join the HeartLoop waitlist, we collect the information you provide in the signup form, which may include your first name, email address, relationship status, city, and your partner's first name (optional), along with whether you opted in to receive early-access and launch updates. We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or sensitive health data through the waitlist form. We use third-party platforms, including GoHighLevel and LeadConnector, to operate the waitlist and send communications.
When you register for the HeartLoop app, we collect your name and email address to create and secure your account.
When you connect with a partner in the app, we store a link between your two accounts (a "couple" record) so that shared features work correctly.
Your answers to the in-app love language quiz are used to personalize the Heart Acts generated for you and your partner.
We store which Heart Acts are assigned, completed, skipped, or swapped, and any written reflections you choose to add. This activity is visible to your connected partner as part of the app's shared-progress design.
Your shared heart-fill progress, weekly completion history, and celebration milestones are shared between you and your connected partner.
We store whether your account is on a free trial, active subscription, expired, or canceled, and whether you are the paying member or a covered partner. We do not store your payment card details, as subscription payments are processed by Apple or Google through their respective app stores.
We send in-app notifications and email reminders related to your weekly Heart Acts and partner activity. If push notifications are enabled in a future update, we will also store a device token used only to deliver those notifications.
If you are part of an early-access or beta testing group, we flag your account accordingly to manage temporary access to features that are still being finalized.
We use your information to operate the app: creating your account, connecting you with your partner, generating personalized Heart Acts, tracking shared progress, sending reminders and notifications, and managing your subscription. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Because HeartLoop is designed around a connected couple, certain data, including your love language results, Heart Act completions, shared heart progress, and subscription coverage status, is visible to the partner you are connected with. This sharing is core to how the app works and is described to you during onboarding.
HeartLoop is built and hosted on the Base44 platform, which provides our application infrastructure, database, and authentication services. Subscription payments are processed directly by Apple or Google using their in-app purchase systems; HeartLoop does not receive or store your full payment card information. We do not currently use any third-party advertising SDKs. The waitlist is operated using GoHighLevel and LeadConnector for form processing, email delivery, and contact management.
Our website may use basic cookies or similar technologies to keep the site functioning properly and to understand general visitor traffic. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles about you.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, Delete Account, inside the app. When you do: your profile, quiz answers, Heart Act history, and notification records are deleted or anonymized; your connection to your partner is safely removed while your partner's own account and data are not deleted; some limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, such as records needed to resolve a billing dispute; and deleting your HeartLoop account does not automatically cancel an active Apple or Google subscription, so you must cancel separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings to stop future billing. We retain waitlist signup information for as long as needed to communicate with you about HeartLoop's launch, or until you ask us to delete it.
Disconnecting from your partner (Settings, Disconnect Partner) ends the shared connection between your two accounts without deleting either account. Each partner keeps their own profile and quiz results; shared couple progress tied to that connection is closed out.
We rely on our hosting platform's (Base44) security practices, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls that restrict couple data to the two connected accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
HeartLoop is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us using the information in Section 22 and we will investigate and remove the account.
HeartLoop is a relationship-engagement tool, not a substitute for professional relationship counseling, therapy, or medical or mental health advice. If you or your partner are experiencing a crisis or need professional support, please seek help from a licensed professional.
If you cannot or prefer not to log in, you can request deletion of your account and associated data at our public account deletion page, accessible without login, at https://www.ourheartloop.com/delete-account. That page explains how we verify your identity, what is deleted, and what limited information may be retained.
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from updates at any time, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

We may update this Privacy Policy as HeartLoop's features change. We will update the Effective Date above when we do. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated in-app or on this page.
